Who Needs an ARN?

To work with CASA, each person or organization needs to have an Aviation Reference Number (ARN). This number acts like a customer or account reference when working with CASA. As a result, an Aviation Reference Number is needed for any official interaction. Additionally, having an ARN makes communication with CASA easier and keeps records well-organized.

The following entities, specifically, must obtain their own Aviation Reference Numbers:

  • Chief Remote Pilot
  • Maintenance Controller
  • Companies, associations, or statutory bodies applying under their entity name
