Uncrewed Approvals is proud to once again support the conference and the continued development of the Australian RPAS industry.

We are also proud to have recently become the first organisation recognised as an AAUS Accredited Industry Leader, reflecting our commitment to advancing professional standards and capability across the sector.

A Unique View of the Industry

In our role as a CASA ReOC Delegate, Uncrewed Approvals operates at the centre of Australia’s commercial drone regulatory system.

Earlier this month we issued our 2000th ReOC on behalf of CASA.

In January we also reached the milestone of having issued more than half of all ReOCs currently active in Australia.

This position provides a unique perspective on the structure, growth, and operational trends within the Australian RPAS industry.

Industry Insight Papers

We have also included two Industry Insight Papers addressing structural challenges currently affecting the sector.

These papers explore practical ideas for improving scalable approval systems and regulatory efficiency within the Australian RPAS framework.

The arguments presented in these papers have already been submitted directly to CASA as part of ongoing industry engagement discussions.

We hope they help contribute to a constructive dialogue about the future direction of the industry.

Practical Tools for Operators

During Chief Remote Pilot (CRP) interviews, one issue we regularly observe is difficulty interpreting aviation weather briefings.

To help operators build confidence in this area we have created a Weather Decode Quick Reference Card, which is also available for download.

It is designed as a simple field reference tool that helps pilots quickly interpret aviation weather information during operational planning.

Professional Development

For operators looking to expand their capability, Uncrewed Approvals also provides a range of free and low-cost professional development courses through our online learning platform.
